Using Threads

• Public engagement. The dynamic on Threads is heavily conversational, so it’s important to be authentic to the platform by not flooding it with link posts. Engage with the audience there before asking them to do something that benefits your bottom line.
• Multi-media posting. No, this isn’t a unique or innovative feature in 2024, but you should be posting more than text. Incorporate videos, images, and audio into your every day.
• Real-time updates. Similar to X, Threads is a constant stream of information. This means your content should be posted with the expectation of real-time interaction, and it’s okay to post frequently! Be careful not to lean into recirculation too hard, as it will feel inauthentic to the platform.
• Integration with meta platforms. Threads is closely integrated with Instagram and Facebook, which are all part of the Meta family. Consider the next way to link your accounts and get the most eyes on your content. Investing more in Instagram benefits your Threads presence. If you already have a vibrant Instagram presence, you might see more immediate gains when you leverage Threads more.
• Voice Threads. We’re highlighting this because it’s relatively unique. You can record a short voice message and post it or use it to reply to another post. Captions generate automatically!
